Megan Mathieson is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film and Television Production. She is a writer/director and a passionate storyteller, using her art to amplify female voices. Most recently, she worked as the assistant to the Executive Producer of Showtime’s Billions Season 7. Previously, she was the testing coordinator for Showtime’s Ripley Season 1 and the Health & Safety Coordinator for Billions Seasons 5 & 6. She spent two summers interning at WGBH, a branch of PBS, with experience as a research and development intern at Studio Six and as a post-production intern at Masterpiece. She has written and directed a variety of short films, including a foreign film shot in Prague that was an official selection at NFFTY’s 2020 festival. As a student, she enjoyed working as a crew member on other student sets and volunteering at the Fusion Film Festival, an organization that promotes women in film. She is also a ballet dancer, pianist and jazz saxophonist.
